The Jahara® Teachers Association offers professional training programs to become a Jahara® Specialist (JS) and an Jahara® Advanced Specialist (JAS).

Healthy Body Mechanics in Water

Classes

	Jahara® Basics.
	Jahara® Expansion.
	Jahara® Structural Shiatsu or Jahara® Integration.

Repeat Class as an Auditor

Jahara® Basics.

Recommended Red Cross Course

CPR

Electives or Previous Training

A minimum of 250 hours of qualified training.

Other Requirements

	Give 10 Jahara sessions.
	Receive 2 Jahara® sessions from an approved Jahara® Specialist.
	Supervised personal project.
	Give a short session to a Jahara® Technique instructor.

Continuing Education

50 hours every 3 years as student, auditor or assistant.

Structural Alignment

JAS certification asks for the completion of the following additional requirements:

Classes

	Jahara® Structural Shiatsu or Jahara® Integration (whichever is missing).
	Specialty class (special topic classes offered by the Jahara® Program).

Repeat Class as an Auditor

Jahara® Expansion recommended.

Other Requirements

	Supervised personal project.
	Technical evaluation.

Continuing Education

50 hours every 3 years as student, auditor or assistant.
